I now have got all the network runing from the 16 port switch to RJ45 Sockets in each persons room. This means that in general, everyone just needs a short section of patch from their pc, rather than long fixed cables to the switch. Also the switch is auto sensing, and will cope when a cross-over cable is used instead of patch, and vice versa
